The Metro boys arrived at the pitch for this game slightly downtrodden coming out of two defeats. They started strong winning two face offs out of three and scoring two goals, however the boys still looked flat. The second quarter saw Tom Hallam and Ben Reddy put in great defensive efforts however the boys remained flat at half time leading just 4-1.

 

The tone of the game changed with the weather and as the clouds circled the pitch the boys dug deep and began to play some fantastic lacrosse. Charlie Mason moved with and without the ball scoring a great goal and putting in another spirited effort. Another great game by Darren Howard with 2 assists and exceptional shooting by Lewis Curtis saw the boys go on to win the game 13-6.
