A hot day at Annapolis High School saw a so far unruly bunch of Under 15's waiting pitch side to play against AYLA.

 

It became clear early that Stephen Shaw was out to win the game, eventually totalling 13 exceptional saves. Great defence led by Dean Cordwell led the team to a shut out 3-0 first quarter. Metros pushed on but began to lose concentration despite great play by Darren Howard to finish the half 5-2.

 

A second half of great attacking play by both teams saw the match finish 9-6 to AYLA. Despite the score the Metros team walked off the pitch with heads held high. A display of real English graft.
