Another hot day at Severna Park. Factor 25 and we are still burning. The cold beers at the end of the game are the only relief for coaches at the end of the game (sorry folks).

 

Metros started off slow and went down 3-0 in the 1st quarter and were down even further at half time by 7 goals to 2. The players responded really well in the 2nd half drawing 2-2 in the 3rd quarter and winning 2-1 in the final quarter. Final score 10-6. The score did not reflect our best performance so far. 29 shots total. Goals from Chapman, Hackett, Russell, Baythorpe, Bullock and Davies. Coaches very pleased with the even spread. As usual excellent performances from both keepers with 7 and 8 saves per half. Severna Park gave man of the match to Ramsbottom.

 

Excellent performances all round as far as the coaches were concerned with maximum efforts from Cole, Bullock in particular. A good spread of shots cam from Chapman, Ridings, Hackett, Russell, Baythorpe, Robinson, Miller, Bullock and Parker. Coaches were very proud of all the squads and all the parents can be very proud of their boys they are up for it now.

 

Just met Ben Davies' Mum and Dad - anything can happen in Annapolis! I think we have a thunder storm due, it's beginning to rain.

 

As usual Love to my wife I miss her lots.
