First of all Mums all the U13 boys are fine; enjoying the sun, shops and gallons of water we need to drink daily.

 

Our first game was in the extreme heat and we lost 25-1 but our boys played valiantly and you would all have been very proud of them. We happened to draw the league champions in extreme heat for our first game. We had plenty of possession and shots (9 in total) but lost most of the faces. Our two keepers Donovan and Burke played extremely well with 6 and 5 saves in each half. Will Ramsbottom showed the rest of the team how to battle against stronger opposition.

 

Coaches were impressed with our performance and look forward to our next opposition in a positive way, confident that we will get more goals. All our shots came from Ridings, Bullock, Russell and Hackett, with Ridings providing us with our only goal.
