About AAYLC
Formed in 1976 The Anne Arundel Youth Lacrosse Club (AAYLC) organization is an independent group of lacrosse managers and coaches who run, or have run teams within the Anne Arundel County sports recreational programs in Maryland.
The Anne Arundel County recreation programs that have been involved over the years are Severna Park, Davidsonville, Cape St Claire, UYC, Garci, Crofton, Elks, Andover, Edgewater, Annapolis, and Broadneck. When visiting the UK the players selected from the above programmes play against participating Metro clubs.
The AAYLC players are split into an Under 13 team for 11 and 12 year olds and an Under 15 team for 13 and 14 year olds.
Anne Arundel County Youth Lacrosse Association will host the 2008 Metros Tour organised by their tour leader Chris Kelly. The Metro squads will play against local teams within Anne Arundel County, including Davidsonville, Broadneck, Severna Park, and Annapolis Youth. The final game of the tour will be the now traditional Friendship Game.
